MassMutual Asia provides comprehensive group life insurance plan, including Term Life Benefit, Accidental and Disablement Benefit (Comprehensive/Basic benefits), Total and Permanent Disability Benefit (Any/Own Occupation) and Critical Illness Benefit. Term Life Benefit

Teminal Illness Benefit
If an Insured Member is suffering from an illness, which in the opinion of the medical practitioner appointed by MassMutual Asia, will highly likely lead to the death of the Insured Member within 6 (Six) months, MassMutual Asia shall make an advanced payment equivalent to 50% (Fifty percent) of the amount of insurance as specified in the Policy Schedule, subject to a maximum of HK$500,000, to the Insured Member immediately upon receipt of due proof of such Terminal Illness.

 

Total Disability Extended Death Benefit

If, on the date an Insured Member’s insurance cover is terminated, he suffers from disability which prevents him from engaging in any and every gainful occupation as a result of Sickness or Injury, and if the Insured Member remains continuously under such disability until his/her death, and that such death occurs, MassMutual Asia shall pay the amount of insurance applicable immediately before the termination of the Insured Member’s insurance cover less any Total and Permanent Disability Benefit and/or Terminal Illness Benefit paid in respect of the Insured Member, subject to a maximum of HK$500,000, to the Insured Member’s Beneficiary.

 

Accidental and Disablement Benefit

     
Major Burns Benefit
When as a result of an Injury the Insured Member suffers from third degree burns (full thickness skin destruction) covering at least 20% (Twenty percent) of the body surface, MassMutual Asia shall pay the amount of insurance less any other amount paid or payable under the Accidental and Disablement Benefit as a result of the same Injury.
 

No-Evidence Limit

The maximum No-Evidence Limits for Term Life Benefit, Accidental and Disablement Benefit and Total and Permanent Disability Benefit are HK$6,000,000 whereas the maximum No-Evidence Limit for Critical Illness Benefit is HK$4,000,000.
