The Hospital Benefits plan provided by MassMutual Asia for residents in mainland China will cover the Insured’s hospitalization in mainland China provided the hospital is rated at Class 3A (“Covered Hospital”), according to the terms and conditions of the Policy. 

Before being admitted to a hospital in mainland China, it is important for the Insured to check the classification of the hospital, as to whether it is a Covered Hospital rated at Class 3A on the commencement date of the hospitalization, via the official website of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the PRC - https://www.hqms.org.cn/usp/roster/index.jsp. Please note that the information provided in the above-mentioned website includes most of the hospitals in mainland China, except for some military hospitals and Chinese medicine hospitals. For classification of these hospitals, please make inquiries directly to the hospital.
